Who is behind Selene Origins?
Founded by long-time friends and colleagues, Rachael and Laura, who've been on an incredible journey in the diamond and gemstone world for over thirty years combined! Selene Origins was born initially by the pair creating bespoke lab created diamond pieces for friends and family. A thirst for more pieces grew gradually and so, and over a coffee one day, they decided to launch their own first collection, and the rest is history!

At Selene Origins, we are on a mission to let as many people know as possible there is no difference in lab grown diamonds and mined diamonds, apart from their journey. They are NOT simulants or ‘look-a-likes’. Lab created diamonds are optically, chemically and physically the same as mined diamonds.
Think of it this way: Ice can form naturally in glaciers, lakes, or rivers, or created in freezers. The ingredients and results are exactly the same. It is the same concept with lab created diamonds.

With that in mind, we urge you to ask yourself, why do you want to own a diamond? Are you buying diamonds because they look truly beautiful, or because you want to own a piece of the earth's mined crust?
